Broken Altar

“Today I found a winged victory of colossal dimensions, unfortunately I found neither the head nor arms, the drapery of the garment is exquisite.”

A broken piece of mirrored glass set between two handmade, cracked and ruined, plaster plinths.

Broken Altar is a monument for intimate communion with our reflections, the wholeness of who we are, and that which persists beyond cracks, chips, time, and scars.

Inspired by Nike, who represents victory in all forms, and whose spirit endures beyond the scattered rubble of her physical body as she stands today, wrecked by time but recognized as a monument of exquisite beauty.

Stand-alone pieces are made to order in two sizes in matte white:

Large: 2250h x 1100w $2,200

Small: 900h x 505w $780

Both sizes can be mounted on a timber base or set without, which allows the mirror to meet the floor.

Lead time is 4–6 weeks.

Broken Altar Large can be custom-made to fit a specific space or project. Color, size, dimension, and shape can be altered and installed to suit as we build.

The Coat Rack

One continuous line drawn in space and traced with hand rolled, powder coated steel.

“In life, each moment of true wandering has a destination.”

Even when we sit we are not stagnant but resting somewhere on a contour line drawn by the turns and bends we’ve taken and are yet to make.

The Coat Rack is a touch point between coming and going where we can pick up, or put down, and define a space between where we’ve been and the direction we are going.

Lead time is 4-6 weeks

Available in various powder coated colours.

Dimensions: 630 wide (at the base/widest point), 1950 high
