Installations.

Ours installations are site-specific, collaboratively-designed pieces that offer an opportunity to create something new. Made using basic materials, constructed in interesting ways, they are born from a collaborative exchange between us and you; maker and client.

Designed to exist in the space between sculptural and functional, our installations are pieces of furniture that can merge the visually engaging atmosphere of a gallery with your home or work space.

Let’s make something together.

Brick Reception

Cult Design, Abbotsford

Designed and installed on-site to complement the industrial aesthetic of Cult’s new showroom.

The Brick Reception is made from brick pavers evenly spaced across fifteen layers by over 5,000 pieces of hand-cut steel.

Acrylic Sample Table

Autex, Essendon Fields

Commissioned by Wildflower, designed and built for Autex’s sample library to sit at the intersection of furniture and sustainability statement.

The table is constructed entirely from clear acrylic — body, legs, and internal structure — with a high-gloss white resin top. At four metres long, the weight of the fill required a fully engineered internal support system, all resolved in acrylic.

The body is filled with Autex production pellets: the waste byproduct of their acoustic sheet manufacturing, typically destined for recycled plastic goods. Suspended in clear acrylic, they become the material and the message.

Breakout Table

Wildflower, Collingwood

A sculptural breakout table designed and made in collaboration with Wildflower for their new office, built entirely by hand with a plaster texture, paint, and a high-gloss clear resin finish.

The layered construction gives the piece its texture — visible in the legs and apron, contrasting with the smooth, lacquer-like surface of the top.

The result is something that looks algorithmically generated, rendered rather than made. Monolithic in form, deliberately bold in colour.

Broken Mirror

Cult Design, Melbourne

A custom iteration of the Broken Mirror, installed at Cult Design’s Abbotsford showroom.

This wall-mounted sculpture was made from two hand made plaster plinths – fabricated to sit flush against the wall and painted to match – enclosing the broken mirror.

Available to order in custom colours and sizes.

Interior Installations

Ours, Fitzroy

A multi-component installation at Ours’ former location in Fitzroy. Read More

In the bathroom, a salvaged church window became a shower screen, fitted with back-lighting to create a truly spiritual bathing experience.

The exisiting steel corner basin and toilet were painted to match, and a concrete shower pan was repurposed in the kitchen as a sink. This very special basin was also custom-fit with a green tap in the centre of the piece.

In the shopfront, a custom cyclorama drips out across the floorboards.
